Albritten's Funeral Service--Dawson, GA
In Charge of Arrangements

Mr. Anthony Gray was born to the late George Gray and Romaine Gray on September 20, 1955 at Prince George Hospital, Cheverly, MD.

He obtained his education at Kendall Elementary School for the Deaf (1965-1970), Washington, DC and was a 1975 graduate of MSSD High School for the Deaf, Frederick, MD.

Anthony was employed by the Department of Labor and retired from the United States Postal Services after 35 years of service.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Victoria Young Gray.  Their union was blessed with three (3) children:  Antwan, Vanetta and Aaron.  He was a loyal and devoted husband and father.  He had the gift of making you smile, not only with his energetic sense of humor, but with lots of hugs, jokes and laughter.  Anthony would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed help.  His gift of knowing how to make you laugh made it possible for him to be known as that funny guy.  He was given the nickname of 'BB' by his friends.

On Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, GA, Anthony gave up the busy walk of life for eternity with his Heavenly Father.

His love and special memories will always be cherished by his friend, Mary Murphy; three kids, Antwan, Vanetta and Aaron; eight (8) grandkids, Lavontey Gray, Pryncess Gray, Zahari Gray, Kenya Gray, Jaylon Gray, Amore’ Gray, Giovani Thomas and Elijah Thomas-Bailey; two sisters, Carolyn (Danny) Biggs and Anita (Sam) Allen; three brothers, Aaron (Diann) Gray, Derrick Gray and Durunte (Felicia) Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
